Bodybased trauma coach and opener of worlds

What is bodybased traumawork?
In bodybased trauma coaching we treat the person as already being whole versus a broken individual that needs to be fixed.
The work I do is about slowly removing the mechanisms you built at one point to survive and establish a safety in yourself so you can peel back the layers of trauma and gain access to your core, lying underneath.
Trauma influences the brain and body heavily and through that our emotions, behavioral patterns and bodily health. This multidimensional effect it has on humans needs to be adressed holistically.
As emotions happen in the body they need to be adressed there as well.
The first step in my work is creating a safety in feeling, holding and expressing all emotions. The way a person was raised determines what emotions are "safe" and which ones are not. In order to process trauma one needs to be able to feel all the emotions that were not able to be expressed safely during and after the traumatic event.
Through somatic exercices and nervoussystem work the coachee widens their window of safe emotions in secure connection to the coach.
This ground work enables the security to work on trauma without the client feeling overwhelmed by the upcoming emotions.
Through somatic exercices including movement, art and breath, mindfulness and presence are cultivated without the instant need for change. The mere observation and acceptance of the current state has a positive impact on trauma.
This connection to the self, the emotions and the body is crucial in working with trauma and establishes a self confidence in the coachee.
Because ultimately my goal is to give you the tools and the space for you to learn how to heal your own trauma.
I am the bridge on the way to that point.
